On information overload: What I sometimes notice about myself is that I want to absorb information as efficiently and quickly as possible. I want to go through books at record speed. (My reading list is too long) And I overload myself with information. I need to be much more disciplined in prioritizing what information I take in and take more time to reflect on information. I have the feeling that a lot of what I read and learn doesn't really turn into knowledge (feels more like entertainment). Maybe a superficial general knowledge emerges, but it often lacks depth. Maybe it's just the curse of the generalist?

I feel exactly the same way, especially for the last few weeks. My thoughts are whatever information just stays an information without certain actions⊠itâs like to fulfill a cattle with water, boil it, but not making any tea. eventually the water is gonna just disappear and you gonna burn outâŠ
