Roy Lichtenstein: A short portrait (approx. 10min) Roy Lichtenstein has always been one of my favorite Pop Art artists. I think his unpretentious choice of motif (comics) appealed to me as a child. He was my introduction to Pop Art (I think for many it was Warhol) I think his rather strict graphic approach (dot grid, primary colors) is what makes him stand out among the other Pop Art artists and also makes him interesting for graphic designers. https://youtu.be/gOsLpoa6c_4?feature=shared

Actually, it wasn't Lichtenstein who first brought me into contact with Pop Art. It was Keith Haring, of course. As a child of the nineties, his art was omnipresent in my surroundings.
