I'm excited for a world with actual economic consequences to social connections. Like, if you follow someone, they take out a loan, and default on it, it eats into your stake.
Social graphs could be great to bootstrap social support networks, but not if people just treat follows like a game, trying to get a high score.

Spring and summer are the seasons for following! 🙂
