Basically that blue sky doesn't punish creators or builders for linking out to different places where they actually make money. twitter is parasitic to users in the sense that it only promotes content that engages other users to continue to consume content on twitter.  everybody that makes money elsewhere will move somewhere they don't get punished. twitter brain drain, I guess
