I saw Joel Salatin speak years ago, and he was my hero when I briefly pursued a career in organic agriculture.

My partner and I really seriously considered making a go of it. Ultimately we weren't committed enough to make the sacrifices it demanded. I still feel a bit sad about that, but other doors have opened and we're happy.
