I was thinking about implementing/testing some sec fuzzers for smart contracts, found these 2 interesting research but nothing directly practical or updated to the current state of the art.

You're just looking for existing fuzzers? There's a lot out there, though none AI based like in the link afaik:
- Foundry
- Harvey
- Echidna

Thanks, yeah just existing ones not exactly AI based. That ILF one I shared is a bit outdated
