I am sure I’ll miss an upside opportunity, but the risk part of the conversation raised more concerns for me than it settled. Counterparty risk is still risk, within EI or not, and rinse & repeat restakers raise systemic risk profile for all others.

1) Doing an analysis on TVL on EL when atm is just a staking contract where users are depositing to farm points is a bit cringe. 2) Saying that lev only happens in DeFi is weird. EL will lev staked eth. Also, an AVS could use a LRT as collat, and that new LRT be used as collat in another AVS.

EL will leverage staked eth. Also, an AVS could use a LRT as collateral, and that as collateral in another AVS.
