I interact with those a lot. The issue is noting crypto as anything more special than getting paid through your bank or debit card. Just ignore the financial plumbing because no one cares, which is why they haven’t made an attempt to understand and default to judgement

i think that’s a good way to frame it for normies, but i also think there’s an innate culture tied to it. i’m interested in crypto bc i see it as freedom from systems that have failed us, it’s a genuine interest of mine

People connect really well with what you just said except for the crypto word. You can take advantage of the fact that they actually do want crypto by describing the better system without saying the blasphemous words
