Fits both, but is more wellness aligned These replies are fascinating to me that say fitness = body, wellness = mind. If that’s true, where does nutrition fit? To me, wellness is all encompassing (including longevity, integrating movement with life etc) Fitness is focused on movement from a physical exercise angle

Disagree. Fitness = biological chemical processes, wellness = less concrete tools for mental and spiritual health(which does affect the latter so there’s a gray area there)

I agree with exercise being in the fitness category. Is drinking water under fitness or wellness to you?

Fitness. Another way of explaining: if it’s underlying principles are physics and chemistry it’s fitness. If the underlying principles are psychology or sociology it’s wellness.

So where do neurotransmitters fit? Of which these biochemical reactions control our entire psychological reality and many are produced primarily from our nutrition/gut and exercise.
