After digging into a bit, seems like there are two decent options for gifting crypto in small amounts to children that aren't yours:
1. ETFs in custodial / UTMA accounts (no ETH yet!)
2. Onchain custody route (multisig w/ parents)

Details and reasoning below, what am I missing?

would love to see someone build a simple "gift ETH to your friend's kid" tool on @base

have been trying to do this for years and it's always way too hard

Same as some DeFi options that replicate college funds for example

can you share more about these? i'm not familiar

I haven’t seen much development on these to be honest, neither fully on chain or use of ETF’s in a 529 account
