OH: "With the release of cbBTC, people are now realizing that /base is now the center of gravity of DeFi". Kind of crazy that so many larger L2s and sidechains just completely dropped points here when they had years of lead.

At the end of the day, advantages of On-ramp via exchange are huge plus Coinbase machine is on fire with execution

It seems like every exchange is working on an L2 and stablecoin project to vertically integrate trades, swaps, on/off ramps to fiat, liquidity, and activity. In retrospect, Binance was super early to this. Interested in seeing Tether and Robinhood's L2 project, and I'm still a believer that Facebook/Meta has to throw their hat in the ring.

Would be great if everyone stopped launching chains and built on existing infrastructure so defi liquidity stops getting so fractured. Payments? Sure go new chain. Trading? Deep liquidity is what matters
