I have the answer (for myself atleast) Zora mints to IPFS - which requires you to maintain the image pin Manifold mints to Arweave - which does not require data maintenance

Yep arweave is the move You can still upload to arweave and import your own metadata on zora Easily for 721 ("drops") , with a bit of jig acting with 1155 (the main create flow on zora app)

Two resources I give anyone to get started with arweave - a tool and how to use it Somethings are a little different to how you would think about it with IPFS - but these help remove some of initial complexity https://ardrive.io/ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MTSPjmCmdqs

I think making the upload-manifest flow nailed down as a simple flow for people looking to switch from ipfs would be neat That's definitely an initial barrier if someone came from using pinata or NFTup etc

Good suggestion β I'm also not sure if its on the Ardrive roadmap but being able to pay for storage on Arweave using Base could be a huge unlock
