Second only to my lost bitcoin from early 2010*, I once tore up and walked away from a rather large bundle of Adobe stock (was part of an OSS acquihire in 2010 to offset the murder of Flash) after having two conversations: - one with a VP who said the company's future lay in casual gaming - one with a core ActionScript dev who said the next version (never got released) would provide "faster than native" performance Heard recently that the VP might be next in line for CEO. This is not financial advice. I will give them this much, though: they have made better progress on migrating their creative suite to the web than I thought they would! The attempted Figma acquisition read to me as not wholly unrelated to a Rust+wasm talent bottleneck. *no, I'm not Satoshi
