Should we show market cap or FDV as the number on token link pages? We are currently showing market cap since doesn’t matter for most memecoins.

mcap, pretty rare that memecoins aren’t fully circulating would make an exception for coins like $trump for which both are relevant

But aren’t neither relevant in the case because 80% is not circulating and if they start the chart nukes. In this case specifically it seems the most important number is available liquidity right?

mcap is most relevant since it tells us the total value of the circulating coins fdv is also relevant since it tells us that the supply is higher than what’s circulating, so you should probably consult the allocation and vesting tables to get the full picture doubtful that anyone on FC (or twitter for that matter) is throwing around enough size to be worried about liq when there’s nearly 800M+ in the pool

Right but ultimately if people tried to start selling % amount of supply it would have a significant effect on FDV. Thinking in terms of some of the convos about how Trump could give Billions away thru airdrop, etc and if that happened it would have a big effect on price.
