i dont think liquidity fragmentation is a real problem. imo the real issue the ETH community faces is *attention fragmentation*,,, and @rainbow is in a unique position to do sumthin bout it lots of ecosystems fighting for attention, only will promote apps built in their ecosystem, but most ecosystems are 80%+ the same fundamental apps/primitives this causes the new novel experimental apps/experiences being launched to get much less visibility bc drowned out by everyone copromo'ing the Nth uniswap/aave fork nobody currently incentivized to surface the fresh, boundary-pushing apps across *all* ecosystems. L2s are extensions of eteruiom but theres no good way to see the cool stuff happening across all of the various eterium flavors in a high level way, everything is ecosystem scoped (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻ [cont..]

the problem? incentive misalignment. [yud_yelling_misaligned.jpg] most major consumer wallet apps are built by companies that also have their own L2s, driving them to promote their L2 ecosystem at the expense of others. Coinbase Wallet → Base M*taM*sk → Linea Uniswap Wallet → Unichain Trust Wallet → BSC Rainbow's different. we're independent 💁♀️. no L2 baggage means we can and will surface the best from everywhere not going to leak our exact plans, but Rainbow is cooking fr. were building something that'll make onchain discovery actually fun and useful. the infra has matured since last cycle, chain abstraction is a thing, and now with the rich social graph data afforded to us from the growth of Farcaster, this time is unironically different big things coming in the next few months 🌈 can i get a hoyyyaaaaaaa?

biggest compliment I can give to /rainbow is that yall have actually managed to make Ethereum feel more like a monolithic chain. yes, we still need to switch networks here and there, but damn it’s smooth. not to mention one of the best open-source React Native mobile apps out there.
