What if created /commitment for attending events? Attending and organising events I’ve seen this behaviour in web3 which is to request to attend everything. This inflates numbers creating challenges for organisers and makes us non-committal. I think this happens because events are either often free or super expensive what if there was a middle ground? A commitment deposit on-chain that gets released when you scan your ticket at the event? Similar to tactics used with gym classes and restaurants. Interested to hear thoughts for and against this.. shout out to @0xdesigner for some inspiration with visual here

i think there’s an interesting consumer app idea here tbh… as for @event i just don’t have the bandwidth right now to build it and haven’t felt it to be a large enough need.

Completely understand. I’d like to see someone build it in as a feature not a mainstay because it’s possible this is a cultural/behavioural change shift that won’t see a lot of need until it already exists. Because the value lays in a better event experience which is perhaps a bit intangible
