I think a combination of factors is more likely than anything one thing. 

A large majority of casters still are devs and builders sharing their work. Many probably do take the weekend off, so it’s prolly work for them. 

If the most active people are less active, then it creates a kind of negative flywheel I think?

I’m not a top caster by any means, but I will say for my part that I am just generally a lot busier on the weekends.

That’s the spend time with my wife without face glued to the phone time. I’ve learned the hard way what happens when I don’t follow that rule lol.
