I think it cannot be overstated how bad the idea of public voting (everyone sees everyone else's voting record) is. We need private (but verified) voting in DAOs.

Yes! We had a vote to have only public voting. Would have voted against it, but was inactive in the main channel. Was approached after the vote closed by the person who created the proposal & who knew my position. FFS what a hypocrite. If it helps him, he reaches out in private to gather support….
