Every so often i feel this desire for something like the sims or club penguin or second life to come back. 

and yet we have things like minecraft, roblox, gta 5, fortnite

is there something to this or do i just need to get with the program? what do you think?

fortnite and roblox i just missed the boat on

gta is too manufactured… yea you can have a lot of fun, but there’s very little creativity involved

minecraft is the opposite… complete creative control, but it’s harder for the average player to create something magical. and it doesn’t have a town square.

part of my long term goal with my minecraft city is to strike a balance in the middle, but it’s just a hobby project. i’m surprised there aren’t more attempts by game studios.

yea haha… ive been playing battle royale since it was a minecraft server minigame, pubg, etc  but something about being able to build structures in the middle of the game felt weird.

Curious, how did you miss the boat on Fortnite? You just consider it too far down the rabbit hole to try and get involved?
