there should be a warpcast channel that only shows people with an active badge

maybe it should just be the main feed

and like not a dig to anyone that doesn’t have a badge that’s reading this and is active, i’m guessing that’s a function of tweaking the algo

to the extent that they're mostly commenting and liking and scrolling, tbc I'm not on the WC team but I'd think that would be considered active

having said that if you're lurking, wouldn't a non-spam feed be the best experience?

Fair but a lot of us are lurking and learning, so do you mean people who open the app or only people who post? 

I’ve worked as a community manager for years. The bulk of people in community don’t post a lot. That varies depending on the community and what’s going on. It doesn’t mean they don’t have value.

how do you start and grow a twitter audience? usually the rec is to comment and engage with other people’s stuff

maybe when you do that and people respond, that’s how you get an active badge—not exactly sure

my point was that the algo should be good enough to separate those genuinely participating from spammers

What is your rationale behind this suggestion?

People without an active badge wouldn’t be able to get one, if all of us do not interact with them because we don’t see their posts in the main feed.
