Not everyone gets their break at a young age. Some "lucky" ones arrive in their 20s and 30s, but many others in their 40s, 50s, or even later If we anchor too heavily to what the society prefers (early success), we may not be present when our time arrives. The key is being receptive to what each season has to offer

I have a hard time taking young philosophers seriously (haven't been banged up by life enough) I think there's a reason the USA sets an age floor of 35 for our equivalent of the philosopher-king
