Loved the piece IMO screenshotted bit is the biggest miss, and it shows up here and there throughout. Technology absolutely comes from love. Flight was the Wright’s love. Synthetic fertilizer was Bosch’s love. Beautiful computers were Jobs’ love. And so on. Creation is sacred love and some know and live that.

The tone of the manifesto is in many places one of proper human sacrament, but its overt message is in parts hollow and mechanical Love and meaning and the good don’t need to be and really *can’t* be decoupled from technology and progress and money; they are all intimately related and the former always fundamental
