ok i need some advice from ppl who do a lot of public speaking while also running a company do you make your own slides? like wth, it takes a lot of time

also, after watching the apple presentation last night, i'm wondering if I should really go hard on gesticulating? feels like a trend there

I just put memes on there and some bullet points of numbers I don't want to forget. Then I freestyle the actual presentation since it's usually topics I know by heart and just need numbers + bullet points as guides of what I should talk about. + Agenda and bullet points are a nice red line to follow through the talk

make my own slides, mostly bullet points w/ no style or extra formats- saves lots of time.

Imo vitalik also have a good style w/ slides: formulas, bullet points, occasionally some meme pics light the tone. Used to help other ppl w/ slides most time consuming stuff is making all sorts of graphs and nice formats, so to avoid it when making my own. Just go minimal

Yep I make my own slides, but we have a company wide template to move quickly.

YMMV, but especially the first few times making the slides yourselves helps a lot to build the right foundation and confidence. Once you get in the groove of it you can delegate.
