I just tested it by swapping my remaining 7962 allowance. Received DEPE which I swapped for 7397 DEGEN. There is definitely some leakage but it sort of proves my point of allowing users (farmers in particular) to cash out their allowance.

I think the team should consider putting a cap on the percentage of your allowance you can trade, or have trades impact your future allowance somehow, or else I could see this could getting out of hand.

For the record, I threw that DEGEN into a LP, because the hat stays on. 🎩

I think we should let it play out and see what happens. I tested it today. Was fun. But id rather help my community and degenpad projects. But nice to know I have options now. Let’s see if it gets abused. Maybe the farmers won’t even notice.

I’m interested to see how this impacts price. Worst case in my mind is that farmers will now dump throughout the season (with some extra steps) and then mint.fun will claim and dump at seasons end. Could get ugly (or uglier) pretty quickly, no?

Uglier than it is now and has been for weeks? Vibes are way down. Tons of accounts who staked don’t even bother tipping. I’ll take anything over this dread and stagnation.

In terms of price, potentially. Add in the eventual unlock and likely sells of LDEGEN and oof. Hoping for the best but mentally preparing for the worst, ha
