Permissionless access to the Farcaster social graph to identify people you regularly public interact with (and who interact with you back) is the new contact sync.

Not a perfect replacement, but pretty good. 

Just need to scale it. :)

Progressively-enhanced Farcaster apps

Similar to how JavaScript progressively enhanced apps on the web, I think a good framing for Farcaster is doing the same with social context

Emphasis on "progressive": the app still works without it → gets better once Farcaster is integrated → even better once you sign in
