I unfortunately got disconnected but Shopify Blind was also right on the past two layoffs. Very strange feeling.

Seems like Dropbox is getting its house in order

Dropbox is one of the most disappointing products I interact with regularly. Overcomplicated product, pointless reinvention of standard OS UI, various bad idea features like their text editor, their push into photos, and their perpetual enshittification of the MacOS menu bar tray app and even worse windowed app experience.

Brutal.  I’m sure they’re thinking that working for one of the Magnificent 7 isn’t all that it’s cracked up to be.

For most companies profit comes first, last few years has been hard for tech workers. Hope all of them find great job fast.
