I respect Lex for taking the long view of a historian when choosing questions to ask world leaders. They may be talking about ephemeral events, but you can tell he makes an effort to tease out themes and ideas that will outlast the interviewee (even if they don’t quite pick up on it in the moment). Also, pretty wild to hear Cursor mentioned in the AMA at the end – I’ve been daily-driving it for over a year, so it’s slightly jarring for me seeing it only now entering mainstream discourse all of a sudden. https://youtu.be/qCbfTN-caFI
