According to The Wall Street Journal, the Ukrainian military has increased the use of attack drones capable of bypassing obstacles and electronic warfare systems. UAV suppliers for Kyiv have launched mass production of drones equipped with the Skynode system from the American company Auterion. Skynode is a compact computer and flight controller installed inside Ukrainian-made drones. The Auterion website notes that with the help of “computer vision” technologies, the Skynode system can counteract GPS signal jamming. In addition, it allows controlling swarms of drones and provides fully autonomous flight. According to the newspaper, Kyiv will receive tens of thousands of such mini-computers.
