"if you're paying people to use your product and then you stop paying them and they stop using your product, you didn't have product market fit. you just..paid people." same feels when mints are boosted by providing incentives. you didn't build demand, you just bought attention.

it's one of the reasons i stopped doing low cost mints on coinbase wallet last fall. people were collecting for points that lead to rewards from base/coinbase. didn't feel aligned with what i wanted for my art.

In my view, NFT art is purely a medium for creative expression — a space to explore, share, memes and showcase the beauty of art itself. It’s not about chasing profits or gaming the system. For me, art isn’t meant to be mined for financial gain; it’s meant to be felt, appreciated, and understood.
