Oh, wait-wait-wait. I think it's important to catch that thought while it's fresh. Sometimes it's important to take on a task that is easier and that you can enjoy. Especially in those moments when the to-do pile keeps piling up, and creativity just doesn't know where to break through because there's no energy and your head is a bunch of noise. But by doing this "easy" task, you'll feel relieved and gain confidence in your own abilities. Just look around you and start conquering new heights. Without that momentum, you can burn out faster. My so 'easy' task was this ghost story. A nice pfp bug gave me a fun idea back at the beginning of the month. After a week of thinking about it, an outline was created, and today it's finally finished and I can cross off all the items in this mini-project. My soul is singing and really feeling relieved, I didn't go into it headfirst, I just made it part of my routine and have been moving forward in small steps. Thank you for reading. Now we can get some sleep 😴💤

Love this. I take this approach to my work week too...not just my creative projects. Starting on an "easy" task makes it easier for my to get consumed in the work. That being said, pairing it with something you're creatively drawn to is where magic can happen. Let the mind explore.
