Saw the great man himself Denis Villeneuve at TIFF yesterday! It was a special double-feature of Dune & Dune Part 2, he addressed the crowd at the beginning and did a Q&A post. BladeRunner 2049 got a mention, nothing about Arrival (maybe my fave of his films). He was also very tight-lipped on Dune Messiah, and didn't even mention Rendezvous With Rama.  It's like the best time to be a sci-fi fan right now and I'm kind of pumped.

It was jaw dropping. My first time seeing it at the IMAX and words won't do *that* iconic Paul x Sandworm scene any justice. Even though we knew Villeneuve would be speaking it took me a good while to process what I was actually seeing 😅

What an exciting experience! Villeneuve's passion for Dune is palpable. I'm curious to see how he'll adapt the sequel and Messiah.
