I've definitely used it a lot less than in previous years too. It was a cornerstone of so much of my reading from 2008-2016 

I wish I could honestly say that this news would spur action to save it. It's more hope than expectation

That's actually sad. I have not used wikipedia in a while .... But I'm sure the AI models I used are using it.

It's important that this is finally coming to light

The most extreme bias is probably against Israel

Foundation AI models are being trained on this biased data as if it's ground truth

Since legacy media propaganda is considered a “valid” source by Wikipedia, it naturally simply becomes an extension of legacy media propaganda!
