i get why people end up at “higher is an open source cc0 brand so it can be applied to everything/is for everyone” but that line of thought is an extremely efficient way to kill anything with an early spark of interestingness

what do you think are the areas we should focus on so far?

I actually think I’ve landed at a similar point - we’ve slowly moved away from a more athletic motivational aesthetic so internet native memes, largely lead by lght, clfx, saintless, basedeneo, etc

I like the exploration process as a whole tbh, I see the headless brand more as a journey than a destination tbh

But I think we need to balance encouraging creativity with also creating soft consensus around what’s canon

honestly dont know, i just think its a mistake to assume 'broadness' being a desirable trait

my favorite part of higher so far is the awesome design language and visuals -- that feels pointy, unique, and somehow cohesive in tone despite multiple artists going their own ways with it

i think the athletics angle can mesh w that too but its not where i wouldve ended up myself
