i think i actually get bitcoin now

kind of wild some people just got in 2013 immediately

i think the store of value thesis is finally going to play out, which is the part of bitcoin i understood the least. if it does i think we do enter a "supercycle" in that bitcoin becomes legitimized on an insane level and it changes the global financial system forever. i didn't see that possibility until today.

most of bitcoin's other usecases (fast payments, smart contracts, censorship resistant money, etc..)  is now being fulfilled by other blockchains but SoV may be the most important anyways

I remember seeing the ads for digital gold and I thought they were crazy

I’m relatively new to bitcoin, but from what I understand it’s the modern version of the gold standard. 

I’m in favor of going to a bitcoin standard so that the US stops printing money like crazy
