i have a sony vx2000 and it's a riot. super good looking [bad looking but you get it] footage

yeah i want the perfect bad but good vibe, only thing is audio should be mostly actually good

vx2000 seems a bit too big for now, mostly wanted to get something to try it out, haven't really made videos before but it could be fun to get a special tool and try it out

looking at the sony cx 405 rn ! seems like < $300 and pretty good quality, still a bit of a retro feel, light, and mic is good

oooh audio req is a good approach, i personally like the vx audio, would consider it good compared to the video quality. big tho for sure. 

what’s the front runner for you currently as you’ve been browsing? i’d assume sony but what model? filming is really fun but the bottleneck is editing imo
