this could be a good thing for builders who bring fresh new ideas but it feels like we’ll just repeat past mistakes if they don’t understand issues in DeFi, NFTs, etc…

The good thing is that they are trying to learn and go beyond their echo chambers(hopefully that’s why they’re on fascaster) There’s so much to learn. Everyday there’s so much progress

I think this post needs a differentiation of what "people" you are referring to. End-Users aren't interested in how things work, they are interested in good UX and issues being solved for them. This applies to everything. Apps, banks, social media, cars, you name it. Why would we expect users to 'want' more education in crypto? Wouldn't the goal be to shape an environment where people could make proper use of crypto, without needing to extensively educate themselves before?

i missed the last bull cycle and experienced a lot of FOMO due to my lack of knowledge about crypto. the market crash gave me time to study, and i got involved in early 2023, just btc and eth tho. holding ever since. im now starting to understand the Web3 ecosystem, though there's still much to learn. and im glad being here to learn everyday.
