Apologies about the mix up. 

It showed you a modal at the point of account sign up to inform you. High-tipping users are also doubly-informed in DMs. 

So far no one has had issues. The team will turn it off for you and increase the comms around this so it’s very obvious for people.

Got it thanks for clarifying! Should be an opt in model rather than opt out imo.

Yeah not great that I was informed via DM after I had uninstalled the app a week before

yeah i personally miss a ton of DMs as well so something so important shouldnt be opt out via dm notifs especially

Also, no clue you had uninstalled especially because you had given good and direct feedback initially.

Also this would have been a lot more obvious in UI in the future because there would have been a list of apps for them to manage etc. cc @agrimony.eth
