how the heck does someone with zero -- yes, ZERO -- casts and only two replies have a power badge?

i understand that Nikita is some kind of legend and there is no disrespect intended here (nikita has no control over badges!!) but there is something very wrong with this system right now.

I get grandfathering and manual badges for certain folks, but it does feel deflating for those of us who are actually active and using the protocol regularly. Hope they get this figured out before everyone decides to give up on it.

Don't preach decentralization and then hand select badges. And if you do, give em a different badge. Like a real degree vs an honorary one.
