The active badge is going away.

Spammy accounts are aggressively gaming the system to get the badge. 
Making the rules stricter just makes it harder for legitimate users.

We’re past the point where a simple rule based system will work. We need something better.

Work on your reputation, and your reputation will work for you.

I think the Power badge system is more fair. Real evaluation of recognized authorities in the Farcaster ecosystem is more objective than just being able to play by the rules of popularity algorithms (like spam accounts do, for example).
