Agee Farcaster is not as directly political but it strikes me as discursively political insofar as: (a) it decenters sovereign hegemony from the frontier of social media by introducing a censorship resistant network; and (b) social media has expanded the domain of the “political” with the osmotic ideology of memes.

Just saying the community could do a better job of framing issues in public statements. Buzzwords and legalese are not as effective as arguing that this is merely a case of people using new technology to freely transact with their own digital property. That’s more compelling than the “fewer gatekeepers” arg.
