i used to be terrified to make a mistake or to look stupid, and used hypervigilance to stay as perfect as possible (whatever that even means). one problem with that, however, is that it eliminates opportunities for learning and growth this year i want to lean into being exactly as flawed as i am. then when i make a misstep i can actually see it, i can really understand why it may be important to address it, and i can take action a lot of this involves allowing myself to feel or to think the “wrong” things—though not necessarily to act on them if i am my uncensored self, i can stop creating blocks or numbness, and be more honest about what needs healing it’s important to me to feel good, but ignoring or repressing the bad isn’t the way to get there

i can very much relate trying to dispose of "supposed to" and i've started letting mistakes slide on purpsoe ;)
