Will I be able to run ethOS on my Vision Pro?

Apple is a big asshole when it comes to "actually" letting people own their products. I am a big advocate that if you own a CPU you should be able to run whatever you want on it. Apple will probably never let people side load their own code/OS on any Apple products.

you can run windows on a mac though right? if vision os is full computer style with terminal I would image there’s some way to wipe the hd and load alternate software. if it’s more ipad style os then probably not

100% not gonna happen. The reason you are able to install windows on a Mac using bootcamp is because Apple allows you to do it. I don't want any company telling me what code I can or cannot run on my hardware.

Good question. I want to say Meta but I fear that no big corp is able to deliver a truly open, no restrictions spatial computing device. The incentives are misaligned. Though the first one to do so might be rewarded in developer adoption, who knows.
