Over the weekend I read convenience store woman by Sayaka Murata - about a 36 years old woman working in a konbini, not quite fitting in with what she's supposed to be/ do according to societal expectations. Great read, makes you think about all the unwritten rules and expectations. It's been translated to many languages so you can read it in yours too.

Yeah, I was kind of hypnotised by it. Such a beguiling story.

It was the second time I read it - still loved it. And then I started discussing it with Claude in Japanese and told it to give me grammar tasks based on it. Great way to get some language practice and deepen the reflection on it haha. I mean ofc ideal would be to talk about it with some real people but this is a nice workaround.

That is a great use of Claude. I bet he was happy. Might try it. Need to choose the right book.
