I've seen more talk about "artisan" vs. "asset manager" funds recently, especially with the Asylum Ventures launch (NYT link) Is this new? There was a boom of first time fund managers from 2017-2022. The bear market has slowed it dramatically but I expect it’s a macro trend that will pick up again.
