This month for First Draft Club, I wanted to experiment with a lightweight way of incentivizing people to write.

December is a great month for reflection. So for each week this month, anyone on Farcaster who quote casts the weekly reflection prompt from @firstdraftclub.eth will be eligible to win $5

Q: How do I participate?
A: Just quote the weekly prompt from @firstdraftclub.eth (posted on Tuesdays) and add your reflection. It can be a link to a site like Paragraph, a screenshot essay, or just in the body of the cast itself.

Q: How do you decide who earns $5?
A: I'm planning to reward maximum 5 people per week. It will be somewhat random – I'm not judging the writing itself, although I will exclude out low-effort posts.

(Hopefully the act of reflecting is its own reward!)

Q: Do I need to post my reflections in /firstdraft?
A: No, you can post anywhere as long as you quote the prompt. Only active members First Draft Club have access to the channel.

Q: I'm already a member of First Draft Club. Can I participate in this?
A: Of course! If you put your reflection in the /firstdraft channel, it can count as your post for the week.

Q: When is the deadline for each week?
A: Sunday night (US time). I'll send out rewards on Monday mornings from firstdraftclub.eth to connected Farcaster addresses.
