I have 3 people who hold me highly accountable with myself. One of those people is David Roche, who has been my running coach for 5 years now(!)🙏

I'm grateful to know him, and for the time he puts into my training schedule & feedback. Plus the occasional reminder of what it's all about, when I'm having a PABD.

David is a 2 decade long, overnight success, which is incredibly motivating for me. He's an absolute legend to many, and he's just getting started.🦖

After Leadville 10 weeks ago, a huge part of my brain thought it was a fluke. After the Javelina 100, that part of my brain is awfully quiet 🧡

I don't know him personally, but I listen to SWAP. It's really nice to seeing him have this success, and silencing the haters in the process. Gonna be very interesting to see what he can do at Western States.
