Brief history: Degen Dogs were degen long before $DEGEN. Born at @ethglobal ETH Online 2021 (Finalist, Best @superfluid Project & other prizes), /degendogs launched to Polygon on 3.14.2022 with Dog owners receiving streams of yield-bearing ETH. In the early days, Degen Dogs raised 12,000 USD for Ukraine humanitarian aid. 200 Dogs were minted on Polygon, and today they can be teleported to Degen Chain. Auctions have restarted, /nouns style, one new Dog every 24 hours. Dog owners still receive streaming rewards, but this time it's even more degen.

I would like to introduce @degendogbot (you may want to follow). A few weeks ago @degendogbot bridged the Dogs 5 ETH treasury from Polygon to Base and immediately swapped it for $DEGEN. Within days, the price of $DEGEN doubled -- now you know why 😑 . @degendogbot uses its DEGEN tip allowance to mint $WOOF daily on Degen Chain (powered by @mcdegen). This WOOF is then streamed per-second to Dog holders over a 90 day period, acting as a form of vesting, reducing sell pressure. Currently over 7,000,000 WOOF is being streamed to Dog holders everyday. But this number will go up. A lot. Dog Your Own Research (DYOR) and get your share.

Auctions. If don't own a Degen Dog, you might want to change that in a hurry. Similar to /nouns, one Degen Dog is auctioned every day. Bidding is in (native) DEGEN on Degen chain. How much should you bid? You should Dog Your Own Research (DYOR), but my own research shows that you may receive the equivalent of 18,000 DEGEN per year in the form of streaming $WOOF, maybe more.
