Longest race of the year ... so far. In the Sunburn Solstice, you run a 3.8K (2.4 mile) trail loop as many times as you can from exactly sunrise to sunset, on the longest day of the year (or the close Saturday to it). 124km completed, with receipts.

Loads of fun. Most participants were part of relay teams, so the start/finish area ... which I passed 32 times ... is like a party atmosphere with teams waiting for their runners to complete each loop. Everyone pretty friendly, nobody taking things too seriously. But the heat was rough...
