anyone building a semi-custodial wallet?

e.g. key is sharded. user keeps one piece and company keeps different piece. both pieces needed to sign transactions via MPC

I have started building a REST api that creates a Safe on behalf of the user. *If* the user already has an EOA, the it become one of the signers. The other signers are a custodian hot wallet and cold wallet. Safe is 1 of N. The custodian can send transactions on behalf of user, but user can take full custody when ready

Not coded yet, but yes, that is the idea. Since it’s a Safe the user can always remove the other (custodial) owners without the custodian’s permission. But yeah, API endpoints for the same is the plan.

does the api have a mechanism to burn the hot and cold private keys if the user or developer want to leave the service?

an alternative would be an easy way to bulk transfer assets (especially NFTs) to a new EOA
