What happens if I mint a base color that matches a Maxi someone already minted as their one freebie? Can I mint from owning the color and as a result two Maxis with the same color will exist?

No. In that case, you will not be able to mint a Maxi for the newly-owned color. Perhaps I should have enabled people to “steal” (claim) others’ Maxis by minting the color 🤔 That could’ve been fun.
